Gold prices continued their upward trend in Pakistan at the start of the new business week, following global market movements on Monday.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola rose by Rs200, reaching Rs275,700, while 10 grams of gold saw an increase of Rs171, settling at Rs236,368. In the international market, gold gained $3 per ounce, trading at $2,659.

In contrast, silver prices remained steady in Pakistan, with the per tola rate at Rs3,050 and 10 grams at Rs2,614.88. This follows Saturday’s jump in gold prices, where per tola increased by Rs1,600 to Rs275,500 and 10 grams rose by Rs1,372 to Rs236,197.
