Gold prices in the domestic market of Pakistan experienced a slight rise, aligning with the upward trend observed in the international market on Thursday. According to data provided by the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola increased by Rs250, reaching Rs228,550. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs215, settling at Rs195,945.
In the international market, the price of gold also saw an uptick, rising by $9 to reach $2,188 per ounce.

On the other hand, silver prices remained stable in Pakistan, with the price per tola remaining at Rs2,600 and per 10 grams at Rs2,229.08.
Simultaneously, the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) witnessed a positive return on Thursday, with the KSE-100 index increasing by over 1,000 points in intraday trade. At approximately 1:42 pm, the KSE-100 index surged by 1015.82 points or 1.59 percent, reaching 65,064.26, up from the previous close of 64,048.44.
