Gold prices in the domestic market of Pakistan witnessed a slight decrease, aligning with the downward trend in global prices. According to data from the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price per tola of gold dropped by Rs600, closing at Rs244,400. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold declined by Rs514, settling at Rs209,534. In the international market, the price per ounce of gold also experienced a decrease, dropping by $6 to reach $2,337.
Meanwhile, silver prices remained steady at Rs2,650 per tola and Rs2,371.94 per ounce.

In contrast, the previous day saw an increase in gold prices, with the per tola price of 24 karat gold rising by Rs2,500 to Rs245,000, up from Rs242,500 on the previous trading day. Similarly, the cost of 10 grams of 24 karat gold increased by Rs2,143, climbing from Rs207,905 to Rs210,048.
