Gold prices in Pakistan experience a slight decline

Following a significant increase, gold prices in Pakistan experienced a slight decline on Monday, mirroring trends in the global market.

In the local market, the price of 24-karat gold per tola fell by Rs900, bringing it down to Rs283,400, as reported by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA). Meanwhile, the cost of 10 grams of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs771, settling at Rs242,970.

In the international arena, gold prices also saw a reduction, dropping by $9 on Monday to reach $2,739 per ounce, with an additional premium of $20.

Conversely, silver prices remained stable in the local market, holding steady at Rs3,350 per tola, unaffected by the recent fluctuations in gold prices.
