Gold prices in Pakistan fell on Thursday, following losses in the international market. According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs2,800 to Rs537,162.
Similarly, 10-gram gold was sold at Rs460,529, down by Rs2,401. The previous day had seen a decline of Rs10,000 per tola, with rates hitting Rs539,962.
Internationally, gold prices also declined by $28, bringing the rate to $5,144 per ounce, with an additional premium of $20. Silver prices mirrored the downward trend, decreasing by Rs194 per tola to Rs8,810.
Analysts attribute the decline to global market fluctuations, including ongoing economic uncertainty and shifts in demand for precious metals. Investors and traders are advised to monitor international trends closely before making purchases.
