After hitting record highs multiple times this week, gold prices in Pakistan saw a slight decline on Friday.
According to the Karachi Sarafa Association, the price of 24-carat gold dropped by Rs. 300 per tola, settling at Rs. 276,700, while the price for 10 grams fell by Rs. 256 to Rs. 237,226.

On Thursday, gold prices had surged by Rs. 1,500 per tola, reaching a historic high of Rs. 277,700 in the local market.
Meanwhile, in the international market, spot gold remained steady at $2,670.50 per ounce after hitting a record of $2,685.42 on Thursday, marking a 29% rise in gold prices this year.
