Gold prices in Pakistan saw a slight decline on July 15, 2025, reflecting a downward trend in the international markets. According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA), the price of 24-karat gold per tola fell by Rs700, settling at Rs359,000. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs600, reaching Rs307,784.

The reduction in gold prices comes as the global gold market also experienced a dip. The international price of gold was recorded at $2,365 per ounce, reflecting a $7 decrease compared to the previous day. The easing in gold prices is attributed to a stronger U.S. dollar and investor caution ahead of upcoming economic data releases from the U.S. Federal Reserve.

Gold prices in Pakistan typically mirror global trends, with the local market adjusting in response to international fluctuations. The price of 22-karat gold also saw a decline, with 10 grams priced at Rs282,145, a fall of Rs550.

In addition to gold, silver prices also slipped both locally and globally. The price of 24-karat silver per tola in Pakistan stood at Rs4,014, marking a Rs73 decrease. On the international front, silver traded at $38.30 per ounce, reflecting a $0.73 decline.

The current trend in gold prices indicates ongoing market volatility influenced by the strength of the U.S. dollar and economic uncertainty. Investors and consumers in Pakistan are advised to monitor market trends closely as these fluctuations continue.
