Gold Prices Drop by Rs300 Per Tola in Pakistan

Gold prices in Pakistan saw a downward trend on Monday, reflecting a decline in global rates.

According to data from the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of per tola gold dropped by Rs300, settling at Rs289,100, while 10-gram gold fell by Rs257, reaching Rs227,209.

In the international market, gold prices decreased by $3, with the new rate at $2,767 per ounce.

Silver prices also declined, with per tola silver dropping by Rs14 to Rs3,395 and 10-gram silver trading at Rs2,910 after a similar Rs14 dip.

On Friday, however, gold prices had surged to record highs locally and globally. In Pakistan, 24-carat gold per tola rose by Rs2,900 to Rs289,600, while 10-gram gold saw an increase of Rs2,486, reaching Rs248,285, marking the highest levels since October 30, 2024.
