Gold prices in Pakistan surged on Monday after two consecutive sessons of losses.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the per tola gold price increased by Rs2,000, reaching Rs276,400. Similarly, the price for 10 grams of gold rose by Rs1,714, setting a new rate of Rs236,968.

On the global front, gold saw a $20 increase per ounce, pushing the price to $2,652. Meanwhile, silver prices in the domestic market remained unchanged at Rs3,400 per tola and Rs2,914.95 for 10 grams.
Earlier, on Saturday, gold prices had dropped in both local and international markets, with a Rs300 decline per tola and a Rs257 decrease for 10 grams of 24-karat gold.
