Gold Price Drops by Rs1,700 Per Tola in Pakistan

Gold prices fell in the domestic market of Pakistan on Thursday, following the downward trend in the international market.
According to data provided by the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola decreased by Rs1,700 to reach Rs241,200. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold dropped by Rs1,280 to settle at Rs206,790.

In the international market, the price of gold per ounce declined by $17 to reach $2,335.
Meanwhile, silver prices remained steady at Rs2,900 per tola and Rs2,486.28 per 10 grams in Pakistan.
On the previous day, gold prices experienced significant gains in the local market, with the price per tola increasing by Rs2,400 to reach Rs242,700. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold surged by Rs2,058 to settle at Rs208,076.
