KARACHI – Gold prices experienced a slight decline in Pakistan’s domestic market on Thursday, following a decrease in global prices.
According to data from the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs300, settling at Rs257,400. Similarly, the price for 10 grams of gold fell by Rs256, closing at Rs220,680. In the international market, gold also saw minor losses, with the per ounce price decreasing by $4 to $2,454.

Meanwhile, silver prices remained stable in Pakistan. The per tola price of silver stayed at Rs2,950, and the 10-gram price was maintained at Rs2,443.41. Previously, on August 13, gold prices had increased, with the price per tola rising by Rs1,200 to Rs257,700. The 10-gram gold price had also gone up by Rs1,029, reaching Rs220,936.
