Thomas Felder, the German Second Secretary, was found dead at his Karakoram Heights residence in Islamabad’s Diplomatic Enclave, police reported. Initial findings suggest natural causes linked to his history of heart issues. Felder had recently received treatment at Kulsoom Hospital and was absent from work on the day of his death.

After failing to reach him, the embassy sent a driver, who found the apartment locked from inside and alerted officials. Embassy staff forced the door open and discovered Felder unresponsive before notifying the police.

Police were restricted from taking photographs or conducting further on-site actions. A doctor examined the body, and it was later sent for an autopsy. SSP Diplomatic Enclave Zeeshan Haider and senior officials are overseeing the investigation, with updates pending.
