ISLAMABAD — Pakistan’s Army Chief, Field Marshal General Asim Munir, has strongly criticized India for its failure in Operation Sindoor. He said that India’s explanations after the failed mission were illogical and lacked strategic depth.

Speaking at the National Defence University (NDU) in Islamabad, Gen Munir addressed graduates of the National Security and War Course. He highlighted how Operation Sindoor exposed India’s lack of operational planning and military readiness.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Army Chief said India failed to meet its military goals during Operation Sindoor. He added that blaming external factors for Pakistan’s success was both baseless and irresponsible.

Gen Munir warned that any future aggression would be met with a firm and immediate response. He reminded that Pakistan is a nuclear state and will not tolerate threats to its sovereignty.

He also pointed out that India’s attempts to draw other countries into its conflict show weak political strategy. The Army Chief stated that Pakistan, on the other hand, remains a responsible regional power focused on peace and stability.

The Army Chief urged civil and military institutions to remain alert and ready for new forms of warfare. He praised the National Defence University for preparing leaders to face future challenges.

In conclusion, Gen Munir said that wars are not won with slogans or foreign weapons. They are won through discipline, belief, and national unity.
