Gaza Under Siege Renewed Israeli Strikes Devastate Palestinian Lives

Gaza is once again in turmoil, as renewed Israeli airstrikes and ground offensives have claimed the lives of at least 591 Palestinians, including 200 children. According to Gaza’s Health Ministry, over 1,040 people have been injured in a relentless wave of attacks that have reduced entire neighborhoods to rubble.

The southern Gaza city of Rafah witnessed one of the deadliest assaults, with Israeli forces launching a full-scale invasion into the Shaboura neighborhood. Once a refuge for displaced families, it has now become a scene of devastation, as homes were leveled, and families were torn apart.

Despite global calls for peace, especially during Ramadan, Palestinians are facing this renewed violence with little respite. They continue to break their fasts surrounded by grief and destruction, while humanitarian aid struggles to reach those in need.

The violence has also spilled beyond Gaza, with Yemen’s Houthi movement claiming missile strikes on Israel and Israeli warplanes targeting villages in Lebanon, raising fears of a wider regional conflict. Protests have erupted within Israel, where thousands are calling for Prime Minister Netanyahu’s resignation amid growing discontent over his government’s handling of the conflict.
