Gaza’s Government Media Office has voiced serious alarm after narcotic pills were reportedly found hidden in flour bags distributed through aid centers backed by the US and Israel in the war-torn enclave.

In a Telegram statement, the office called the discovery a major public health risk, revealing that at least four people had uncovered pills identified as Oxycodone—a highly addictive painkiller—inside their flour supplies. Officials warned that some flour might be tainted with the drug, increasing the potential danger.

The office blamed the Israeli occupation, accusing it of intentionally fueling addiction to destabilize Palestinian society as part of what they called a genocidal agenda. Gaza authorities denounced the incident as a “dirty war” against civilians, branding it both a war crime and a clear breach of international humanitarian law.
