Kirsten, known for his coaching stints with the Indian and South African teams in recent years, brings a wealth of experience to the role. On the other hand, Gillespie, renowned for his successful playing career as a fast bowler for Australia, will embark on his international coaching journey with the Pakistan team.

This decision marks an important development in the team’s coaching setup and is expected to bring fresh perspectives and strategies under the guidance of Kirsten and Gillespie. The addition of Mahmood as assistant coach further strengthens the coaching staff, providing valuable support in both white-ball and red-ball cricket formats.
