Record-Low Temperatures Sweep Across Pakistan and Kashmir
The Pakistan Meteorological Department has reported record-low temperatures across the country and parts of Kashmir today, December 13, 2024, with many regions experiencing freezing conditions. Notably, Leh recorded the lowest temperature of -12°C.
Other areas also faced severe cold, including:
- Astore at -11°C
- Skardu at -9°C
- Quetta, Kalam, and Gupis each at -6°C
- Hunza, Bagrot, Ziarat, and Kalat at -5°C
- Gilgit, Chitral, and Dir at -4°C
