Shakeel Ahmad Khan, the elder brother of former Senator Mushtaq Ahmad Khan, was fatally shot in Ahad Khan village, Swabi, police confirmed on Sunday.
According to authorities, the incident occurred during a dispute at the home of Shakeel Ahmad Khan’s neighbor. The suspect, Kamran, allegedly shot and killed his own father during the altercation. When Shakeel attempted to intervene and calm the situation, he was tragically caught in the crossfire and lost his life.

Swabi DPO Muhammad Azhar stated that the suspect is a drug addict and suffers from mental instability.
Officials have assured that an investigation is underway, and the suspect will be apprehended soon.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur and the chief secretary personally contacted Mushtaq Ahmad Khan to offer condolences. The chief minister assured that the perpetrator would be arrested swiftly and face strict punishment.
