FM Bilawal makes an official visit to Tokyo.

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]On the request of the Japanese government, Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari arrived in Tokyo on Saturday for an official visit.

According to a Foreign Office representative, he was greeted upon arrival by Pakistan’s Ambassador to Japan Raza Bashir Tarar, officials from Japan’s Foreign Ministry, and a significant number of Pakistan community members.

According to a foreign ministry statement, the foreign minister’s visit marks the resumption of high-level talks with Japan after a long gap.

The foreign minister will hold delegation-level meetings with his Japanese colleague Yoshimasa Hayashi during his visit, according to a previous press statement.

Foreign Minister Bilawal will meet with Japan’s Prime Minister, Fumio Kishida, as well as the country’s National Security Advisor, Takeo Akiba.

 

The foreign minister will also speak at the Asian Development Bank Institute (ADBI), a well-known Japanese think institution.

“Pakistan and Japan enjoy a long-standing time-tested relationship characterised by warmth, cordiality, and commonality of views on issues,” the statement continued.

During his visit, Bilawal will also meet with senior officials and executives from important corporate houses and institutions involved in the import of Pakistani labour force to Japan.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
