A Fly Jinnah flight narrowly averted disaster on Sunday after making a difficult landing in Quetta amid a severe dust storm and strong winds.
According to Quetta’s Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Hamza Shafqaat, the aircraft made four landing attempts while running low on fuel. Despite the dangerous weather conditions, the pilot successfully landed the plane, averting what could have been a major tragedy.

Shafqaat described the landing as “miraculous” in a post on X (formerly Twitter), confirming that all passengers were safe. “Thanks to a successful final attempt, a possible disaster was averted,” he wrote.
Meanwhile, a Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight bound for Quetta was rerouted from Karachi due to the adverse weather.
