Flight operations at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport were once again suspended on Friday, with authorities providing no clear explanation for the repeated shutdowns over the past 48 hours.

Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) sources confirmed the airport will remain closed until further notice, affecting numerous domestic and international flights.

This is the third suspension in just two days, and officials have yet to publicly disclose the reasons behind the ongoing disruptions.

An airport official, speaking anonymously, stated that operations are temporarily halted and will resume only after receiving further instructions.

The repeated closures are expected to cause serious inconvenience for hundreds of passengers already impacted by delays and cancellations earlier in the week.
