ISLAMABAD – Traffic Police to Crack Down on One-Wheeling and Traffic Violations
The Islamabad Traffic Police has announced a strict crackdown on one-wheeling and other traffic violations in the federal capital. The decision was made during a meeting chaired by Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Muhammad Sarfraz Work, which was attended by key traffic officials including SP Traffic, all DSPs, traffic inspectors, and beat officers.

- FIRs for One-Wheeling: The CTO directed that FIRs (First Information Reports) will be registered against individuals engaging in one-wheeling, a dangerous stunt that has become a growing concern in the city.
- Tough Action Against Violations: The traffic police will take strict legal action against those committing serious traffic violations, including illegal racing and reckless driving.
- Performance Review: CTO Muhammad Sarfraz Work reprimanded beat officers with poor performance, while also recognizing and praising officers who have been performing well in maintaining law and order.
- Traffic Flow Management: Police personnel have been instructed to ensure the smooth flow of traffic throughout the city and effectively manage congestion.
