Fiery Protesters Torch KFC Pakistan Outlet

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]In Muzaffarabad, a branch of the American fast food chain Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) was set on fire and vandalized by demonstrators protesting against Israel in Mirpur, Azad Kashmir.

Late on Friday night, a large group of protesters marched on Kotli Road and stormed the KFC outlet, accusing it of backing Israeli forces in Gaza. They ransacked the premises before setting it ablaze, causing significant damage.

Numerous videos shared online depict protesters chanting slogans against Israel and causing destruction in their anger.

Local law enforcement swiftly intervened to control the situation, using tear gas to disperse the protesters. Footage also captured the chaos as rioters fled the scene to escape the fire engulfing the restaurant.

Following the unrest, Azad Kashmir police initiated an operation against the attackers, leading to the arrest of over 50 individuals involved in clashes with law enforcement.

International media reports stated that an Assistant Deputy Commissioner (ADC) of Mirpur, an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP), and three police officers sustained injuries during the clashes.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
