Field Marshal Issues Strong Message on Restoring Public Trust

Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has called for stronger public trust in law enforcement agencies across Pakistan. He delivered this message during a visit to the National Police Academy in Islamabad on Tuesday. The visit aimed to highlight reforms, professionalism, and cooperation among security institutions. 

The Inter-Services Public Relations confirmed the visit in an official statement. The Federal Interior Minister and the Minister of State for Interior also attended the event. Senior police officers welcomed the Field Marshal upon arrival. A smart police contingent presented a guard of honor. 

The Field Marshal laid a wreath at the Police Martyrs’ Monument. He offered Fateha and paid tribute to fallen officers. He praised police personnel for their bravery and dedication. He acknowledged their sacrifices in the fight against crime and terrorism. 

During the visit, officials briefed the Field Marshal on modern training programs. They discussed the School for High-Impact Elite Law Enforcement Development. The briefing highlighted new efforts to improve skills and discipline. Officials explained how technology supports modern policing. 

The Field Marshal met young officers from the Police Service of Pakistan. He stressed the key role of the police in protecting citizens. He said police officers serve as the first line of defense. He urged them to protect life, property, and dignity always. 

While addressing senior police leadership, Field Marshal spoke about cooperation. He encouraged close coordination between security agencies. He said strong teamwork improves law enforcement performance. He added that modern practices must guide policing. 

Field Marshal repeated the need to rebuild public confidence. He said public trust strengthens law and order. He noted that trust helps police perform better in communities. He asked officers to treat citizens with fairness and respect. 

He described policing as a sacred duty. He assured the police of full support from the armed forces. He said the nation depends on disciplined and honest officers. He urged them to uphold the rule of law without bias.
