During his visit, Field Marshal Asim Munir held high-level meetings with top Chinese political and military leaders. These included Chinese Vice President Han Zheng, Foreign Minister Wang Yi, and senior commanders of the People’s Liberation Army (PLA). The meetings focused on joint defense efforts, counterterrorism cooperation, and improving military training programs.

The Pakistani military’s media wing, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), said the talks emphasized the need for stronger operational coordination. Both sides agreed to improve strategic collaboration to tackle hybrid and transnational threats effectively.

Field Marshal Asim Munir expressed gratitude for China’s ongoing support. He also reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to expanding military-to-military cooperation in various areas. The visit highlighted the deep and lasting strategic partnership between the two nations.
