Field Marshal Praises Soldiers, Stresses National and Regional Security

Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has commended the professionalism and dedication of Pakistan’s armed forces while reaffirming the country’s commitment to national security and regional stability.

The Field Marshal visited Kurram to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr with officers and troops. He offered Eid prayers and made special supplications for Pakistan’s stability and prosperity. According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), he met with officers and soldiers, conveyed Eid greetings, and praised their high morale and steadfast commitment.

Field Marshal Munir highlighted the troops’ achievements during Operation Ghazab Lil Haq, which focused on eliminating terrorist networks and securing Pakistan’s border areas. He emphasized that Afghan soil must not be used against Pakistan, warning that national security will not be compromised.

He also reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to regional peace and stability, expressing pride in the resilience, courage, and professionalism of the armed forces. The Field Marshal praised soldiers for their readiness to defend the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity at all times.

During the visit, the Field Marshal emphasized that hostile elements will not be allowed to threaten Pakistan from across its borders. He reiterated that the armed forces remain fully committed to protecting the nation and ensuring security for all citizens.
