Field Marshal Gen Syed Asim Munir issued a stern warning to India on Friday over what he termed “unlawful and unacceptable hydro-terrorism,” as stated by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
During his visit to the Command and Staff College in Quetta, Gen Munir addressed officers, faculty, and students, discussing regional and global security challenges, emerging conflicts, and Pakistan’s dedication to regional stability. He stressed the importance of resolving the Kashmir dispute peacefully to ensure lasting peace in the region.

Paying tribute to the martyrs of Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos, the field marshal expressed solidarity with their families and reaffirmed the nation’s commitment to honouring their sacrifices.
Highlighting the nation’s resolve, he stated, “The entire nation and its leadership stand as a steel wall in the defence of the motherland,” citing the success of “Marka-e-Haq” (Battle of Truth) as proof of complete unity among all elements of national power.
Gen Asim Munir also warned against ongoing Indian military aggression, pledging to decisively counter any hostile acts. “We will decisively thwart all designs aimed at diverting attention from Pakistan’s efforts against terrorism,” he asserted.
He called on students and officers to carry out their duties with dedication, passion, and commitment, and praised the Command and Staff College’s role in shaping future military leaders. “Besides training, we must also remain prepared for future battlefields,” he emphasized.
The Commander Quetta Corps and Commandant of the Command and Staff College gave a warm welcome to the Field Marshal upon his arrival.
