The FIA confirmed that two loan app offices located in Sector G8, Islamabad, were searched and closed down. As part of the operation, laptops and computers were seized. The FIA is working in collaboration with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) to gather data on illicit loan applications, and further actions will be taken against any apps found to be involved in unlawful practices.

Additionally, the FIA will request the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) to disable these illegal loan applications and take steps to curb online advertisements related to these unauthorized apps.
