FIA Dismantles Gang Trafficking Pakistani Girls to China Through Fake Marriages

FIA Busts Human Trafficking Ring at Islamabad Airport, Three Arrested

ISLAMABAD – The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Immigration has conducted a major operation at Islamabad Airport, arresting three members of a gang involved in smuggling Pakistani girls to China under false promises of marriage.

Suspects & Modus Operandi

The arrested suspects have been identified as Shougui (Yousuf), Abdul Rehman, and Muhammad Nauman. Authorities have also taken the victim girl into protective custody.

The suspects were attempting to traffic the girl to China under the pretext of marriage and employment. They were scheduled to travel on flight CZ6034.

How the Gang Operated

Initial investigations revealed that the gang was involved in arranging fake marriages between Pakistani girls and Chinese nationals before smuggling them abroad. Several female accomplices were also part of the network, targeting poor and vulnerable girls and convincing them to marry.

The gang’s operations involved:

  • Arranging marriages between victims and Chinese nationals
  • Handing over victims’ documents to agents Abdul Rehman and Muhammad Nauman
  • Coordinating with a Chinese agent named Paul, who secured Chinese clients in exchange for large sums of money
  • Providing travel documents and other facilities for trafficking the girls

Exploitation & Blackmail

Further investigations uncovered that the suspects had struck a deal with the victim’s mother for Rs1 million, with Rs150,000 already paid. They also forced the girl to sign a bond for a Rs1 million loan, using it as a means of blackmail.

Legal Action & Further Investigations

The FIA has arrested all three suspects and transferred them to the Anti-Human Trafficking Cell in Islamabad for further investigation and legal proceedings.

Authorities are also working to apprehend other members of the gang involved in this organized human trafficking network.
