FIA Cyber Crime Circle Arrests Suspect for Spreading Hate Speech

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Cyber Crime Circle has arrested Haider Saeed for spreading hate speech and running a negative propaganda campaign on social media in connection with the Jaffar Express incident. The arrest took place following a raid in Bani Gala, Islamabad.

According to FIA officials, Saeed was involved in sharing incendiary content against state institutions and supporting banned organizations online. His activities included the dissemination of false information, such as claiming that over 200 soldiers were martyred in the Bolan attack. Digital evidence of his online activities has been seized, and an FIR has been registered under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA).

Saeed is facing charges under Sections 9 and 10 of PECA, which address cyber terrorism and incitement of hostility against the state. His social media accounts have been taken under investigation as part of the ongoing inquiry into his actions.

Authorities have stressed the seriousness of the case, noting that Saeed’s campaign incited public unrest and undermined state institutions. Investigations are continuing, and further actions may follow as the case develops.
