Several cities across Pakistan experienced extreme heat stress on Saturday as feels-like temperatures surged beyond 50°C, prompting urgent health advisories from officials.
Data from the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) revealed Jacobabad recorded the highest feels-like temperature at a staggering 60°C, followed by Dadu at 59.7°C and Sibbi at 56.6°C.

These regions have been classified under the “Extreme Danger” category, where the risk of heat stroke is critically high due to dangerously elevated heat index levels.
Cities with Feels-Like Temperatures Above 50°C:
- Jacobabad: 60°C
- Dadu: 59.7°C
- Sibbi: 56.6°C
- Dera Ghazi Khan: 55.8°C
- Multan: 54.8°C
- Bahawalpur: 53.7°C
- Dera Ismail Khan: 51°C
The PMD warned that such extreme conditions significantly increase the risk of heat-related illnesses, including heat exhaustion and heat stroke, particularly for those engaged in outdoor activities.
