Federal Board Announces 11th and 12th Grade Results for 2023

The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Islamabad (FBISE) has released the outcomes of the Second Annual examinations for the 11th and 12th grades for the year 2023.

As per the FBISE, the overall pass rate for the 11th grade reached 79.99%, while for the 12th grade, it registered at 75.10%.

Chairman of the federal board, Qaiser Alam, disclosed the results and extended congratulations to all successful candidates.

A few weeks earlier, the FBISE had declared the results of the second annual examinations for Class IX and X in 2023. The overall success rate for Class IX was 76.99%, whereas for Class X, it was 65.91%, indicating a slightly lower success rate in that grade.

Conversely, the recently announced results of Lahore and Faisalabad Boards of Intermediate & Secondary Education (BISE) were notably disappointing.

According to the announcement, only 35.75% of students from the Lahore board passed the exam, and a mere 38.79% of those who took the Faisalabad BISE’s exam achieved passing grades.
