The FBR, in a statement posted on X, noted, “In light of the requests from trade bodies and various tax bar associations, we have decided to extend the deadline for filing income tax returns for Tax Year 2023 to October 31, 2023.”
However, they underscored that no additional extensions will be provided. FBR officials reported that more than 1.7 million individuals have already submitted their tax returns, and they anticipate this number will exceed two million.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
