From July through February of the current year, the FBR collected Rs4.493 billion in taxes, an increase of 18% over the same month the previous year.
However, the amount collected fell short of the goal of Rs4.706 trillion in the first eight months of 2022–23 by Rs214 billion (4.54 percent), or Rs4.492 trillion.
