A heated confrontation broke out between PTI leader Barrister Shoaib Shaheen and former federal minister Fawad Chaudhry at Adiala Jail’s Gate No. 5. The argument escalated when Chaudhry accused Shaheen of being an “agency tout,” leading to an exchange of harsh words. The situation turned physical as Chaudhry slapped Shaheen, causing him to fall and injure his arm.

Jail staff intervened to break up the fight, after which Chaudhry entered the jail premises. PTI lawyer Nadia Khattak condemned the violence, emphasizing that physical attacks were unacceptable despite political differences.

Meanwhile, former PTI member Sher Afzal Marwat caused a stir in the National Assembly with his remark, “Mujhe kyun nikala?” (Why was I removed?), following his expulsion from the party. His comment sparked laughter from government lawmakers, who playfully echoed his words.

Marwat, known for using the opposition gate, entered through the treasury entrance, prompting a lighthearted warning from the Speaker. During a Q&A session, instead of discussing mobile company mergers, he reiterated his grievance about his removal, receiving mixed reactions from both government and PTI members.
