Sulaiman Babar's family seeks justice

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]Pre-arrest bail was granted by Judge Zeba Chaudhry to a suspect in the February 9 fatal motorcycle crash on Major Margalla Road of a teenage biker named Sulaiman Babar.

Sana, the sister of the dead, claimed that Syed Muhammad Baqir Alhussaini, the driver, was driving too fast when he struck her brother’s motorcycle in front of Beaconhouse F-7/3. She said that the CCTV cameras put in place as part of the Safe City Project would support her assertion.

She claimed that the reason she divulged the driver’s identity was because he had lied to her about not drinking. Babar’s sister also criticized the judge for granting bail to Hussaini and took aim at the Beaconhouse for refusing to provide a CCTV recording. Sana accused the police of trying to cover up for Alhussani because he allegedly belongs to an influential political family. Multiple journalists said the Honda Civic car which hit her brother had a sticker with a powerful government department.
