In November 2024, Redmi launched its K80 and K80 Pro smartphones in China, and now, the brand is reportedly preparing to expand its lineup with the upcoming Redmi K80 Ultra, expected to debut later this year.

According to a recent post from the tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS) on Weibo, key details about the K80 Ultra have already surfaced ahead of its official announcement.

  • Display: The K80 Ultra will feature a flat OLED screen with slim bezels and a 1.5K resolution, offering enhanced visual quality.
  • Fingerprint Sensor: It will include an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for improved security and convenience.

  • Chipset: The K80 Ultra is expected to be powered by the Dimensity 9400 Plus chipset, a successor to the Dimensity 9300 Plus, which powered its predecessor, the K70 Ultra.
  • Battery: A significant battery upgrade is expected, with the K80 Ultra rumored to feature at least a 6,000mAh battery, a considerable increase from the K70 Ultra’s 5,000mAh capacity.
