Exciting News for Pilgrims Hajj Applications Are Now Re-Opening!

Applications Reopen for Remaining Quota in Government Hajj Scheme

The Ministry of Religious Affairs announced on Thursday the reopening of applications under the remaining quota of the government Hajj scheme, aiming to fully utilize the allocated seats and avoid returning any unused slots to Saudi Arabia.

Starting next week, an additional 5,000 pilgrims will have the chance to apply on a first-come, first-served basis. The ministry is considering a proposal to limit the application submission period to five days to ensure a timely process.

Previously, the government had received 81,500 applications under the Hajj scheme. This decision to reopen applications offers a second opportunity for those who missed the initial round. Unlike the earlier process, there will be no lottery for the new applications, simplifying the system to ensure fairness and efficiency.

Officials emphasized that the move is intended not only to maximize the quota allocation but also to provide as many opportunities as possible for eligible pilgrims to embark on their journey to the Holy Land.

The ministry has urged interested individuals to prepare their applications promptly as the window for submissions will be limited. Further details, including specific dates and guidelines, are expected to be announced soon.
