The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Immigration foiled an attempt to traffic four women to Saudi Arabia under Umrah visas, uncovering a network linked to a former Punjab police official. The women were offloaded at Karachi Airport and were allegedly being sent for forced labor. Investigations identified Asiya, a former Punjab police employee, as the key suspect financing their travel, while an agent, Waseem Gujjar, facilitated their stay.
In a separate operation, FIA arrested two passengers, Ellis and Ryan, who arrived in Pakistan on fake emergency passports via flight SV700. Their documents were found to have fraudulent emergency stamps, raising doubts about their citizenship. The suspects were handed over to the Anti-Human Trafficking Circle in Karachi for further legal proceedings.
