Ex-PTI Minister Nawabzada Mohsin Ali, Son, Join PML-N Party

In a significant political move, Ex-PTI Minister Nawabzada Mohsin Ali, along with his son and close associates, has joined the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N). This development came after a meeting with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad.

The Ex-PTI Minister’s visit to the Prime Minister’s House was warmly welcomed by Shehbaz Sharif. The premier expressed his confidence that Nawabzada Mohsin Ali would play an important role in promoting PML-N’s policies in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP). He also assured full federal support for the welfare and security of the KP region.

Present during the meeting was Amir Muqam, the Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan, who also greeted Nawabzada Mohsin Ali and his team. This event marks a notable shift in the political landscape of KP.

Separately, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced the restoration of the educational quota for merged districts of KP in medical and engineering colleges. This decision came during a jirga meeting with tribal elders led by Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) President Maulana Fazlur Rehman.

The jirga focused on public order and development issues in the merged districts. The restoration of the quota system aims to improve access to professional education for students from these areas. Tribal elders welcomed the move and praised the federal government’s commitment.

PM Shehbaz Sharif praised the tribal communities for their sacrifices and highlighted their historical and cultural importance. He assured that the government would work hard to maintain peace and promote development in these regions.

The joining of the Ex-PTI Minister and his associates to PML-N reflects ongoing political realignments ahead of upcoming elections. Both parties aim to strengthen their position in KP, a key province in Pakistan’s politics.
