In an extraordinary act of devotion, four Muslim pilgrims arrived at Saudi Arabia’s Al Hadithah border after traveling on horseback from Europe to perform Hajj. The group, consisting of three Spanish nationals and one Moroccan citizen, was warmly welcomed by Saudi officials and volunteers at the northern Al Qurayyat region crossing. A video circulating online shows the exhausted riders being applauded and greeted with hospitality after weeks on the road.
Mamdouh Al Mutairi, the director of the Al Hadithah center, personally welcomed the pilgrims, praising their journey as “a powerful symbol of faith and commitment.”

“This incredible effort represents the deep spiritual drive of pilgrims, overcoming any challenge,” Al Mutairi said. “We wish them a safe and successful pilgrimage.”
Saudi border authorities, along with medical teams, conducted health checks and provided refreshments and support. The effort aligns with the Kingdom’s broader initiatives to offer dignified and efficient services for all pilgrims.
The local Al Hadithah Development Association also hosted a small ceremony, presenting the pilgrims with hospitality kits, flowers, and traditional welcomes. Authorities in Al Qurayyat and at the border are working together to ensure smooth and safe entry for pilgrims worldwide as part of the national Hajj readiness plan.
