Engineer Mirza Muhammad Ali Transferred to Adiala Jail in Blasphemy Case

Religious scholar Engineer Mirza Muhammad Ali, arrested in a blasphemy case, has been transferred to Adiala Jail.

He was handed over to jail authorities by staff from the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA). Reports indicate that the case against him was registered at NCCIA Rawalpindi under blasphemy charges and the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA).

The NCCIA filed the case under blasphemy laws and PECA provisions. Such cases in Pakistan are highly sensitive, carrying significant legal and social consequences. Following his arrest, Muhammad Ali Mirza was placed in custody and later moved to Adiala Jail for further legal proceedings.
