According to separate NEPRA notifications, electricity rates for Karachi will drop by Rs3 per unit, while the rest of the country will benefit from a reduction of Rs2.12 per unit. These decreases will be reflected in consumers’ March electricity bills.
The cut for K-Electric users is based on December 2024’s fuel price adjustment, whereas the reduction for the rest of Pakistan corresponds to the January 2025 adjustment. NEPRA’s separate notifications ensure that households nationwide receive financial relief amid ongoing economic challenges.
