ISLAMABAD: In a significant move under the “Nasha Ab Nahi” campaign, the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police arrested eight individuals on December 22 during a crackdown on illegal Sheesha cafes in Gulberg Greens. The operation, carried out by the Koral police station team, led to the seizure of a large quantity of hookahs and various flavors being served at these establishments.
The police have intensified their efforts to eliminate illegal Sheesha centers in the area, aiming to reduce immoral activities associated with such venues. The arrested individuals are currently undergoing legal proceedings, with further actions expected.

DIG Ali Raza reassured the public of the Islamabad Police’s unwavering commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of citizens. He emphasized that any disruption to public peace would not be tolerated and reaffirmed the force’s priority of protecting the lives, property, and dignity of the citizens.
