The second day of Eid-ul-Fitr is being celebrated nationwide with religious enthusiasm as festivities continue, ARY News reported.
People are visiting relatives and recreational spots across the country to enjoy the holiday with loved ones. In Islamabad and Rawalpindi, citizens are heading to parks and picnic areas, including Lake View Park, Pakistan Monument, F-9 Park, and Ayub National Park. Many are also traveling to Murree.

Eid congregations were held in mosques, open spaces, and Eidgahs across cities, towns, and villages. Special prayers were offered for the country’s prosperity and the liberation of Muslim territories, including Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir and Palestine.
President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif extended Eid greetings to the nation, emphasizing unity, gratitude, and brotherhood. Zardari highlighted the importance of solidarity, while Shehbaz urged vigilance against internal and external threats, stressing the need to combat extremism and maintain national stability.
The prime minister reiterated the government’s commitment to economic recovery, peace, and social stability. He also honored the sacrifices of Pakistan’s armed forces in the fight against terrorism, expressing solidarity with the families of martyrs.
