Eid Festivities Boosted as Staff Leave Cancelled at Wildlife Parks in Punjab

In preparation for the upcoming Eid holiday, staff leave at Lahore Safari Zoo, Lahore Zoo, and wildlife parks across Punjab has been cancelled to ensure uninterrupted services and entertainment for visitors. The move aims to create a festive atmosphere for families during the holiday period.

Director of Wildlife Punjab, Mudassar Hassan, emphasized that Lahore Safari Park is at the center of the preparations, with special wildlife awareness programs and daily shows scheduled for guests. Food courts will remain open throughout the festivities, providing visitors with refreshments as they enjoy the park’s events.

To accommodate holiday crowds, the Safari Park will extend its operating hours, staying open late into the evening. Maintenance work has been mostly completed, with any remaining repairs expected to be finalized soon.

Authorities have coordinated with local police, traffic services, and ambulance teams to ensure safety measures are in place, ensuring a secure and enjoyable experience for visitors during the Eid celebrations.

This decision reflects the government’s commitment to providing a safe and fun environment for both residents and tourists during this special time.
