Earthquake Tremors Shake Swat and Mingora, No Casualties Reported

Tremors from a mild earthquake were felt in Swat and neighboring areas, including Mingora, early today, causing widespread panic among residents. The earthquake, which struck in the early hours, sent many people rushing into the streets and seeking shelter in open spaces. Fortunately, no casualties or property damage have been reported.

The Seismic Center reported that the earthquake had a magnitude of 4.2 on the Richter scale and occurred at a depth of 64 kilometers. The epicenter was located in the Hindu Kush mountain range, a region known for its frequent seismic activity. Despite the brief duration of the tremors, their intensity caused alarm in the area, which has been on edge following a series of stronger earthquakes in the past week.
