According to Volcano Discovery, the earthquake originated in the Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan, with its epicenter detected deep underground, approximately 205 kilometers below the surface.
However, different sources have reported slight variations in the recorded magnitude. The National Seismic Monitoring Center Islamabad measured the earthquake’s magnitude as 5.1, with a depth of around 208 kilometers.

Cities such as Haripur, Kamra, Rawalpindi, Hawelian, Islamabad, Lahore, and Muzzafarabad were among the affected areas, experiencing widespread concern and fear as the ground trembled.
