Ducky Bhai’s Wife Granted Major Relief In Gambling Case

A sessions court in Lahore granted interim bail to Aroob Jatoi, wife of YouTuber Saad-ur-Rehman (Ducky Bhai), in a case related to the promotion of online gambling content.

The court ordered that law enforcement must not arrest Aroob Jatoi until August 30. It also directed her to fully cooperate with the ongoing investigation. A progress report has been requested from the investigating officer for the next hearing.

The case involves serious allegations of promoting gambling platforms through social media. Aroob’s lawyers, Irfan Kalyat and Raja Abdul Rehman Ranjha, represented her during the hearing and requested interim relief.

Just a day earlier, Saad-ur-Rehman’s physical remand was extended by a local court. The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) told the court that they needed more time to question him about the gambling-related content he allegedly promoted.

The NCCIA said further interrogation was necessary to understand the full scope of the case. The court accepted this request and extended Ducky Bhai’s remand until August 28.

Saad-ur-Rehman, widely known as Ducky Bhai, was arrested last week on charges of promoting gambling websites online. These platforms are often disguised as games or entertainment, but they involve real money transactions, which are illegal under Pakistani law.

The gambling case has attracted major public attention, especially on social media, due to Ducky Bhai’s large online following. The authorities are now focusing on how influencers may be used to promote gambling content to younger audiences.

The court’s decision to grant interim bail to Aroob Jatoi provides her temporary relief. However, she is expected to assist the investigation as the case continues. This case reflects growing concerns over digital platforms being used for illegal gambling promotions.
