Dubai Expected as Neutral Venue for Champions Trophy

A consensus has been reached among Pakistan, India, and stakeholders regarding a neutral venue for certain 2025 Champions Trophy matches.

Reports suggest Dubai is the most likely choice for the neutral venue, with a final decision expected soon. While Colombo was also considered, the International Cricket Council (ICC) is set to announce the Champions Trophy schedule shortly.

Earlier, the ICC confirmed that matches between India and Pakistan at ICC events during the 2024-2027 cycle, including the 2025 Champions Trophy, will be held at neutral venues. Pakistan, hosting the tournament, will aim to defend their 2017 title in the eight-team event featuring Afghanistan, Australia, Bangladesh, England, India, New Zealand, South Africa, and Pakistan.
